UK Attractions Tickets

You do not need a flight for a theme park day. Alton Towers, Thorpe Park and Chessington cover the three ages of a family: Chessington for small children, Alton Towers for everyone, Thorpe Park for teenagers who want to be scared. All three run seasonal events in the autumn, Scarefest and Fright Nights, that sell out on peak dates.

London attractions are a different market. The London Eye, Madame Tussauds, SEA LIFE and the London Dungeon are all owned by Merlin and sell combination tickets that are cheaper than paying at each door. For anyone spending two or more days sightseeing, the Go City London passes, either a fixed number of attractions or all-inclusive by day, usually work out cheaper still, and they include the Tower of London and a Thames cruise.

Prices here change less often than Orlando, but advance tickets are consistently cheaper than the gate, and for the theme parks a dated advance ticket is sometimes half the walk-up price.
