Universal's Halloween event, held on select nights from late August to early November in Universal Studios Florida. Around ten haunted houses themed on horror films and original stories, several outdoor scare zones full of roaming performers, live shows and most of the park's rides open until late. It is a scare event in the proper sense: actors will get close and it is loud.
Teenagers and adults who enjoy horror. Universal recommends it is not for under-thirteens and we agree. It is one of the most popular Halloween events in the world and peak nights near Halloween sell out.
Not included in any day ticket. Queues for houses can exceed an hour on busy nights; the Express Pass for the event is expensive but transforms the evening. Arrive before the event starts if you have a day ticket, as day guests can stay in a holding area. Multi-night tickets exist if you want to see every house.
If horror is your thing, this is the best of its kind. If it is not, the crowds and cost are not worth it for curiosity alone.
