Magic Kingdom's Christmas party, held on select nights from early November until just before Christmas. The park closes to day guests at six and the party runs seven until midnight with entry from four. Includes the Once Upon a Christmastime parade, holiday fireworks, a castle stage show, complimentary cookies and hot cocoa at stations around the park, and a snowfall on Main Street that is soap suds but looks the part.
The parade and fireworks are only shown at the party, so the only other way to see them is at the very end of the season when Disney runs them for all guests. Queues are short and the park is beautifully decorated. Some attractions get seasonal overlays, including Jingle Cruise.
This is the pricier of the two parties and dates closest to Christmas sell out early. It is included in no other ticket. Evenings in December can be cool by Florida standards, so pack a layer. Children under three are free.
If you are in Orlando in November or December and Christmas matters to your family, this is one of the best evenings Disney offers. Book as soon as your dates are fixed.
