Privacy and cookies

Who we are

PrimeTix (primetix.co.uk) is an independent comparison website run from the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for any personal data collected on this site. Contact: hello@primetix.co.uk.

What we collect and why

• Contact form: your name, email address and message, used to reply to you. Kept for up to 12 months.
• Price alerts: your email address and chosen destination, used to send price alert emails until you unsubscribe.
• Server logs and usage statistics: standard web server logs and an anonymous page-view counter. IP addresses are hashed with a daily key so we cannot identify you. Used for security and to see which pages are useful.
• Outbound click counts: when you click through to a seller we record which ticket and seller, with the same hashed identifier. This tells us what people find useful.

Our legal basis is legitimate interest for logs and statistics, and consent for price alerts and non-essential cookies.

Cookies

PrimeTix itself sets one strictly necessary cookie, to remember your cookie choices. Everything else is optional and only loads if you accept it in the cookie banner:

• Analytics: if enabled, Google Analytics sets cookies to measure how the site is used. Google's use of this data is described in Google's privacy and terms.
• Advertising: we may in future show adverts served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. Advertising cookies will only be set with your consent.

You can change your cookie choices at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

Affiliate links

When you click a booking button you go to FloridaTix or AttractionTix via the Awin affiliate network. Awin sets a cookie on the seller's website so the sale can be attributed to us. This happens on their site, not ours, and their privacy policies apply from that point: Awin, FloridaTix, AttractionTix.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers needed to run the site, such as our web host and, if you subscribed, the email service used to send alerts, all under contract.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, withdraw consent, or object to processing. Email hello@primetix.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
