London Eye: Flexi Fast Track

What it is

A thirty-minute rotation in a glass capsule 135 metres above the Thames with views over Westminster, the City and, on a clear day, Windsor. All tickets include the short 4D cinema experience beforehand.

Which ticket

Standard entry is a timed slot. Fast-Track skips the boarding queue, which on a summer afternoon can be forty-five minutes. Flexi Fast Track lets you arrive at any time on the day. The Champagne Experience adds a glass of champagne in a hosted capsule with priority boarding, and is more affordable than it sounds. Combos with Madame Tussauds and SEA LIFE are listed separately and are cheaper than paying at each door.

Things to know

Book online in advance; walk-up prices are higher. Late afternoon in winter gives you daylight and dusk in one rotation. Children under three are free. The capsule is stable, and people who dislike heights generally manage fine.

Our verdict

A London essential for a first visit. Fast-Track is worth the extra in peak season.
