Disneyland Paris's paid queue skip, what it covers, and the free ways to beat the queues.
Premier Access is Disneyland Paris's paid queue skip. It is not included in any ticket and it works differently from Florida's Lightning Lane. Here is how it works and when it is worth paying for.
The two products
Premier Access One is a single ride, bought in the app for a specific attraction and a time slot, typically €5 to €18 depending on the ride and the day. Premier Access Ultimate is a day pass giving one skip on every participating attraction, priced from around €90 to €190 per person depending on the date. Both are per person and both are bought in the Disneyland Paris app on the day.
Which rides are covered
Most of the popular ones: Big Thunder Mountain, Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain, Peter Pan's Flight and Buzz Lightyear in Disneyland Park; Frozen Ever After, Avengers Assemble: Flight Force, Ratatouille, Tower of Terror and Crush's Coaster in Disney Adventure World. The list changes; the app shows current availability.
When it is worth it
Frozen Ever After can hit two hours on a Saturday. A single Premier Access One for that ride alone can be the best money you spend all trip. On weekends and French school holidays, the Ultimate pass makes sense if your party wants to ride everything in one day. On a midweek day in term time, most standby queues are under thirty minutes and you need neither.
The free alternatives
- Extra Magic Time: Disney hotel guests can enter the parks an hour before official opening. Use it for Frozen and Big Thunder.
- Single rider: Crush's Coaster, Ratatouille, Hyperspace Mountain and others have single-rider lines that halve the wait if you do not mind splitting up.
- Rope drop and the last hour: the first and last hours have the shortest queues of the day. Do the headline ride then.
- Parade time: queues on the far side of the park drop while the parade runs.
Our approach
Buy Premier Access One for one or two rides you cannot bear to miss, and use the free tricks for the rest. Save the Ultimate pass for a single peak-day visit when time is short.
