What it is

A commented panoramic bus tour through the main Paris neighbourhoods followed by reserved access to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower, with the option of the summit. The reserved entry is the point: tickets for the tower sell out weeks ahead and the walk-up queue can be two hours.

Variants

The version with a Seine cruise adds an hour on the river, which is the most relaxing way to see the city's bridges and is worth the modest extra. The dinner version is an evening event with a restaurant meal in the tower.

Things to know

You need to book a date and a time slot. Security at the tower is airport-style; allow time. The second floor has the best views of the city; the summit is higher but hazier. Children under four are free.
